In the “The Sustainability Award” category, the aerial platform mounted on an electric vehicle wins first prize
Shortlisted for the „Sustainability Awards“, the category dedicated to sustainability projects in the lift industry, the full electric CTE MP 20 Ev platform won the IAPA Awards 2024 as part of the prestigious event dedicated to the aerial work industry by IPAF and Access International magazine.
On Thursday 14 March, in the beautiful location of the Scandic Hotel in Copenhagen, CTE MP 20 Ev was awarded for its green characteristics (100% full electric both the truck and the platform), for its technological innovation (S3 Evo and CTE Connect) and for its appreciable compactness.
With this platform, CTE lays the foundations for a green and silent revolution.
For over 40 years in the lifting industry, CTE has continuously introduced innovations, patents and world premieres. Today, thanks to the synergy with electric vehicle manufacturers, it offers a new solution capable of satisfying the environmental sustainability requirements required by the most recent international objectives.
Introduced for the first-time last October 2022, CTE MP 20 Ev began to make itself known at various international shows, from Bauma to Apex, from Suiss Bau to Vertikal Days, from Journée du Levage to Samoter to GIS.
Traffic limitations, with the limitations of polluting and noisy emissions, are leading to an increasingly urgent adaptation of work tools, and aerial platforms for working at heights are also part of this change.
Public bodies, municipal companies, greenery maintenance workers and large rental companies will be the first to experiment with sustainable solutions such as the use of full electric vehicles to cope with operations in residential areas or on construction sites with particular needs, or even for interventions at night.
FOCUS ON PRODUCT:

This model reaches 20 m of working height, 13 m of outreach and 250 kg of capacity.
