New Lifts for Eagle

UK based Eagle Access Platforms has purchased two new CTE truck mounted lifts for its fleet.

The company from Ringwood in Hampshire, operates a mixed fleet of scissors, booms, trailer lifts and truck mounts and has taken delivery of a 20 metre Zed20CH articulated boom model and a B-Lift230 PRO straight telescopic unit with ‘A’ type outrigger configuration. Both machines are mounted on 3.5 tonne Nissan Cabstar chassis.

Eagle managing director Steve George said that both machines complimented the company’s current fleet and more particularly met the criteria required for a long term rental contract at Victoria Station, London.

“The Zed20CH’s sigma type articulating boom offers superb vertical line work for window and fascia cleaning, we also liked the 360 degree continuous turret rotation, and true zero tail swing, so it is an ideal machine for city environments, and with the newly launched ‘H’ type outrigger configuration, the machine has a much narrower overall footprint making it a compact machine ideal for tight locations,” added George.
