Rapid Platforms, from Bishops Stortford in Hertfordshire have recently taken delivery of the new CTE Zed21JH truckmounted access platform from CTE UK Ltd. This is the first Zed21JH delivered into the UK and follows success with other CTE machines in their large and comprehensive fleet of access equipment.
The new Zed21JH with the new concept ‘H’ type outriggers, was chosen for its overall compactness and versatility and to meet the ever increasing demands of the truckmounted access market. The Zed21JH offers 21m working height, with 10m outreach and has an astounding 300kg payload in the basket and is operational throughout the machines working envelope. Alistair Jordan felt that by having the 300kg basket capacity would offer a greater benefit to the users of his self drive fleet of truckmounts.
Alistair Jordan, of Rapid Platforms said that the CTE products are well proven for their reliability, ease of use, and the ability to use the equipment in many market sectors. Also the full technical support and comprehensive spares holding at CTE UK, based in Leicestershire could offer, led Rapid Platforms to make their decision to buy a further CTE machine to add to their already large fleet.
This new model was exhibited at the recent Vertikal Days Show held in June and received a lot of interest, in particular for its excellent basket capacity. Rapid Platforms took the opportunity of taking delivery of their new machine straight from the Show.
