To maneuver an aerial platform requires maximum care, but it’s not always easy to control all the platforms elements, specifically when the operator moves at height.
A very common mistake is to not control the position of the operators’ hands in the basket, that can crush between the basket and a roof or a façade: meeting the requirement of the EN 280:2013, the handrail of CTE aerial platforms basket now presents a double bar protecting operator and passenger hands during aerial maneuvers.
To make “work becomes easy”, CTE introduced also a new cleaning system at the sides of the basket (trough two small opening). This new system allow to make the operators work safer thanks to the possibility of cleaning dust and debris from the basket, avoiding the need to disassemble it from the platform.
