The Hong Kong Western Tunnel will benefit of the CTE ZED 21 J’s versatility

CTE has won Western Harbour Tunnel Company Ltd tender for the provision of one articulated truck-mounted platform destined for the maintenance of the homonymous tunnel

One more sale in Hong Kong for CTE Spa: an articulated truck-mounted platform ZED J 21 (will be fitted locally to MAN) is destined for maintenance of the Hong Kong Western Tunnel. CTE in fact, has won the tender called by the Western Harbour Tunnel Company Ltd.
The tunnel is an important connection between the Kowloon Peninsula and Hong Kong Island, and it is the gateway between the center and Sai Ying Pun to West Kowloon, Hong Kong Disneyland, Route 3 and the Hong Kong International Airport.
The platform delivery is scheduled for next November.

Close-up on details: the articulated truck-mounted platform 21 ZED J reaches a working height of 20.8 m, an outreach of 10 m and the basket capacity is 200 kg throughout the entire working area. ZED 21 J has a jib of 2.1 m and individual, proportional, electrohydraulic controls. The clean top boom with internal mounted services and a zero tailswing maximize safety in restricted spaces.
