HISTORY

1981 Its founding

CTE begins the production and sale of elevators.

1987 Leader in the World

CTE defines an exclusive agreement for Italy with the world’s largest producer of self-propelled aerial platforms Genie Industries.

1989 Pratika

A new product that becomes a great success in Italy and Europe: removals ladder Pratika.

1992 Pianoplan

CTE acquires the patent PIANOPLAN, improving the provision of means for moving heavy loads on stairs and landings.

1993 Genex

The first company in the world to produce scaffolds in fiberglass. CTE expands in Europe.

1997 A new home

CTE joins Sequani Meccanica; plant was built in Rivoli Veronese, primarily producing truck-mounted platforms and tracked aerial lifts.

2002 IPAF

CTE becomes an IPAF training centre.

2005 The group

Acquisition of Effer and Bizzocchi. CTE becomes one of the largest European companies in the aerial work platform industry.

2011 Award IAPA Awards

With the platform B-LIFT 20.13 Multipurpose, CTE wins the award for best aerial truck-mounted platform of the year.

2017 Award IAPA Awards

With the platform CTE B-LIFT 17E, CTE wins the award for best aerial truck-mounted platform of the year.

2018 Swedish Steel Prize

With the platform CTE MP 32.19, CTE wins the second award of the Swedish prize.

2021 40th Anniversary

CTE celebrates 40 years of business, with an optimistic outlook on the future which embraces all 5 continents.

2021 ITALPLATFORM AWARDS

ITALPLATFORM AWARD: with the tracked platform TRACCESS 270/88, CTE won the Award “Product of the Year” in the self-propelled over 6 m category.

2022 IAPA AWARDS

With S3 EVO, CTE wins the “Innovative Technology Prize” at the IAPA Awards in London.

2022 EXPANSION TO NORTH AMERICA

In collaboration with the local dealer Innovativ Hoisting, CTE launched a partnership in the United States for North American markets.
