CTE UK Ltd is pleased to announce an important sale to access equipment rental company, TAH (Tracked Access Hire) who are based in South London. This valued order consists of 3 truckmounted machines, a Zed20.2H, and a Zed21JH, both mounted on the popular Nissan 3.5T GVW Cabstar and a Zed26JH, mounted onto the new Fuso 7.5T GVW Canter chassis.
Having taken delivery of a new Zed21JH in December 2013, following their success with two CTE Zed20 truckmounts, TAH quickly decided that to compliment their fleet they would order the latest Zed20.2H and a Zed26JH, thus giving them a good range of machines for both operated and self drive hires. Initially these purchases followed extensive research and evaluation of a number of different products by Derek Mark, owner of TAH.
The Zed20.2H and the Zed21JH, were launched into the access market in 2011 (the Zed being the CTE brand identifying an articulated machine with ‘Z’ configuration and zero tailswing), based on the original and extremely popular Zed20 design. Both machines offer great reliability, are versatile and easy to use and are extremely compact machines. An added benefit of the CTE products is that of its basket capacity, with the Zed21JH offering a unique 300kg SWL throughout the working envelope of the machine. The Zed26JH is another well proven design and has popularity in both access rental markets and with end users. All of these machines were chosen by Derek Mark to have the ‘H’ type outrigger configuration, and this was chosen for its innovative design in terms of technology, enabling quick and easy set up, ideal for use in the self drive market.
Derek Mark said that the CTE products were well proven for their reliability and ease of use, as well as having the ability to use the equipment in many market sectors. Also the full technical support and comprehensive spares holding at CTE UK Ltd, based in Leicestershire could offer, led TAH to make their decision to buy further CTE machines to add to their existing fleet of plant & equipment.
