One of our ZED 20.2 H was involved in maintenance operation for the aircraft carrier ship Nave Cavour (Italian Navy): with 9,2 m of outreach, 20 m of working height and 200 kg of capacity, versatile and easy to use, our truck-mounted articulated platform Zed 20.2 H is ideal for manufacturing and plant construction but not only, also for different kind of use like navy maintenance.
Nave Cavour, active since 2009, is the Flagship of the Italian Navy. The carrier has a flight deck 234 meters long, with 6 points of departure and land for airplanes and helicopters, two aircraft parking areas and two 30-ton elevators.
During the maintenance operation, the ship was at the Civitavecchia (ROME) harbor, after a 5 month mission through African and Gulf countries harbors. During this last mission Nave Cavour was the protagonist of an important humanitarian activity.
