STRANGE AND INTERESTING APPLICATION – Unique aerial platforms goes “GREEN”

Last year CTE signed a contract with Singapore National Park to supply a special version of the truck-mounted ZED 26 aerial platform. This is being used to prune trees alongside state roads and motorways and to support gardening activities in the city’s parks. The CTE ZED 26 was supplied in an innovative “three-in-one” configuration that combines the truck-mounted aerial platform with a saw and a tip-up container for the cut branches. This ensured the machine was easy to use for the operator which promoted efficiency and productivity. In this way CTE Group once again delivered on its promise of “Work Becomes Easy”.

The ZED 26 reaches a maximum operating height of 25.3m, maximum load of 230kg and a working radius of 12.5m. The model for Singapore National Park was fitted out locally by CTE’s partner in Singapore, Multico Equipment & Parts Pte Ltd (www.multicoequipparts.com). The company was established in 1980 and specialises in construction, materials handling, environment landscaping and recycling industry equipment.
