Accompanied by a training and familiarization session on the use of the platforms, the first 3 units of a batch of 4 of CTE MP 24 C multipurpose truck-mounted platforms mounted on Iveco Chassis were delivered to the British flag carrier British Airways. The delivery is part of an order that CTE UK Ltd received from the airline.
The platforms will be used at 4 of the main airports with in the United Kingdom (Edinburgh, Glasgow, London Gatwick and Manchester) for aircraft maintenance activities.
The choice of the CTE MP 24 C model is in line with the operational needs related to the maintenance of air fleets: the versatility of the double telescopic boom configuration, the simplicity and fluidity of the aerial maneuvers and last but not least the intuitiveness of the controls and in general the user experience that the S3 Evo system offers.
The British Airways company has also recognized CTE UK Ltd as a reliable partner for the professionalism of the team during the delivery of the vehicles and familiarization phases.
Jimmy Bunting from CTE UK Team who followed this commercial operation, states: “It’s been a pleasure dealing with British Airways, it was evident at their working at height event that the staff in this location are passionate about the work they undertake.
The MP24c was selected as the perfect fit for the industry’s needs, as it allows them to carry out all the required tasks on their entire fleet.”
