Socage strengthens its position and product offering through the acquisition of a majority stake in CTE S.p.A., a company with more than 40 years of experience in the production and distribution of truck-mounted aerial platforms and tracked spider lifts.

Fiorenzo Flisi, CEO of Socage, states: “CTE has well-established know-how in the aerial platform and tracked spider lift sector, offering a solid range of products and high-value-added solutions to its customers worldwide. We share the same values, and CTE fits perfectly into our group. We are continuing our strategy of strengthening our international presence in aerial work platforms. CTE’s range of products and services is highly complementary to Socage’s, enabling us to provide broader support to customers in Italy and abroad thanks to its own sales and distribution network, which will continue to operate independently

CTE has grown steadily, both organically and through strategic acquisitions, significantly improving its market position. We have always focused on building partnerships based on strong, lasting relationships with both customers and suppliers, in order to create a collaborative environment. The agreement with Socage is a key milestone in CTE’s strategy to expand its product range and improve its production setup through industrial synergies that will bring significant benefits to CTE’s distribution network. The same vision and the same goal have guided our dialogue and our relationship with Socage. We greatly value their proactive, customer-oriented approach, which lays the foundation for a further path of joint growth, both in Italy and abroad“, state Lorenzo Cipriani and Giampaolo Piovan, founders of CTE Spa .

Thanks to this transaction, the companies controlled by Socage Srl project and estimate revenues of approximately 190 million Euro for 2026

Stefano Pivetti of Spaggiari Pivetti & Partners and Stefano and Elia Salardi of Studio Legale Salardi assisted Socage with the tax and legal aspects of the entire transaction.
