CTE ZED21J: an articulated platform with jib for clearing obstacles

The CTE ZED21J is a truck-mounted articulated aerial platform with hydraulic jib, designed to reach difficult areas with precise movements and remarkable positioning capability. The geometry of the aerial section allows work beyond obstacles and structures, offering a versatile solution for urban, industrial and infrastructure work.

Articulated boom and hydraulic jib for greater freedom

The articulations allow the basket to be raised following the profile of buildings, roofs, plant and vegetation. The hydraulic jib adds a further movement at the end of the boom and allows finer adjustment of the approach to the work point.

This configuration is particularly useful for facade maintenance, public lighting, telecommunications, pruning and work where the area to be reached is not located directly above the vehicle. The basket’s front attachment makes the approach easier and helps reduce the risk of contact with the work surface.

Automatic stabilization and adaptation to available space

The automatic stabilization system can be managed from the ground or from the basket, simplifying platform setup. The extra-travel stabilizers help compensate for uneven ground and prepare the machine in an orderly manner before deploying the aerial section.

Automatic closing makes it easier to return to transport configuration at the end of the job. The operator can thus move from the working phase to the transport configuration through a more intuitive sequence.

Proportional controls and protected structure

The proportional electro-hydraulic controls allow speed to be modulated and simultaneous manoeuvres to be performed smoothly. Electronic management coordinates the platform’s functions, and automatic engine speed regulation adjusts operation to operational demands.

Hoses and cables are routed inside the boom to protect them from external elements. Automatic basket levelling, protection against unintended manoeuvres, moment control and the anti-collision device between boom and cab complete a CTE articulated platform focused on precision, versatility and safety.
